A cinematic new interpretation of Norway’s national anthem by Sissel Kyrkjebø and producer Andre Lindal, blending acoustic guitar, Sámi runebomme, The Band of His Majesty The King’s Guard, Oslo fagottkor and selected young musicians into a timeless and emotional arrangement. Following its live premiere during Norway’s 2026 World Cup qualification at Ullevaal Stadion, the piece will now be performed in front of the Royal Palace on Norway’s Constitution Day, May 17th, as part of NRK’s national broadcast. This radio edit presents a shorter, one-verse version while preserving the song’s cinematic and emotional impact.
